Television as a media has captured the hearts of millions of people around the world. But there is something in which television, due to its peculiarities, can never dominate. This is interactivity, even though TV channels try to attract audiences in various ways — live conversations in the studio, open phone lines, chats, etc. And even if the viewer holds the remote control in his hands, he cannot fully control the content of the received information stream. Advertising, like an unwanted guest, can interrupt an exciting movie at the most interesting place. And the viewer can either accept it, or, while advertising is running, temporarily switch to viewing another channel. Advertisers don’t like that either.
